" Two Quintessential Aussie Icons, the Meat Pie and Kangaroos appearing together in this fun art installation at Miami Bakehouse Myalup"
ABOUT
For more years than they can count, the famous Miami Bakehouse has been treating holiday makers and locals to award-winning pies, birthday cakes, artisan breads, pastries and great coffee. Miami Bakehouse has always been a tourist icon, attracting travellers not only from Australia but from overseas as well. The owners have been keenly involved in tourism and work tirelessly to help promote tourism in their local region.
Now they have blended two Aussie icons the meat pie and the kangaroo and have put them together at their new Myalup bakery cafe on the Forrest highway. Travelling down south just got even better with a stop at Myalup! Stretch your KangaART legs and hop among the newly displayed KangaArt in the front garden.
The Miami Bakehouse KangaArt is a collection of 16 Kangaroos that are at Myalup (with a couple roaming at other Miami Bakehouse Cafes) with each Roo having it's own unique design. Some were designed by Aussie celebrities and painted by well known artists and creatives. Some of our talented Aussie artists did both.
On your next trip down south, grab a treat from the Miami Bakehouse and have a wander around the colourful mob of beautifully painted Kangaroos. Can you pick which artists or designer painted which? Hint: there are a couple of our West Aussie footy players there!
To learn more about the artists and how to enjoy the full KangaART experience, visit KangaART at 14 Taranto Road, Myalup, Western Australia, 6220
